Project history

First minelaying submarine of Swedish navy. Design was made on the basis of drawings of Bävern class submarines. Normand-Fenaux minelaying system was used. It consisted of 10 vertical trunks, in each of which two mines were stored. Trunks placed in external ballast tanks between pressure and light hullls.

Modernizations

1930s: + 1 x 1 - 25/55 K/58 M32.
