Project history

US Adjutant class coastal minesweepers. Two were built in USA for Norway, five were built in Norway and three were transferred from Belgium in exchange for Aggressive class ocean minesweepers.

Modernizations

1970s, all: - 1 x 2 - 20/70, Decca RM707 radar; + 2 x 1 - 20/85 Mk20 Rh202, Decca TM1226 radar

9/1977, Tana as minehunter: - 2 x 1 - 20/85, minesweeping gear, UQS-1 sonar; + 2 PAP104 minehunting USV (Ibis III minehunting system), type 193M sonar
