Project history

Ex-Norwegian fishery protection vessel was captured by Germans 09 April 1940 but sunk by British aircraft 4 days later. She was salvaged in September 1940 and repaired.

Modernizations

None.

Naval service

Löwe was returned to Norway after war, commissioned again as Senja, sold mercantile in 1954 and used as cargo vessel till 1975.
