Project history

Destroyers of Alsedo class were built according to the law from 17.2.1915 and structurally were similarity of British destroyers of Lightfoot class from the First World War beginning (differing mainly by presence of geared turbines instead of direct drive), but in connection with building protraction they became outdated already by the commission moment. On trials all three ships made 33000hp, reaching 37kts speed. They differed by big rolling excursion.
