Project history

Former British frigates of Broadsword class (Batch II), transferred partly unarmed. Ships were modernized before transfer: 76mm gun with Radamec optronic director was installed fwd, sonars were replaced by one type 2050, Terma DL-12T decoy launchers replaced old suite. CCS CACS-1 was modernized, partly become similar to Nautis 3. SSMs and Sea Wolf SAM were landed.
