Project history

KDX-II, follow-on to KDX-I design, with improved armament. Has BAE Systems-Samsung KDCOM combat data system with 10 display consoles, Thales databus, and U.S. WDS Mk 14 weapon-direction system. Each carries two Tactical Acoustic Countermeasures (TACM) decoy launchers fitted atop the helicopter hangar.
