Project history

PTC boats were built in MTB hulls for ASW service. Wooden hulls, 70ft ELCO design. Additional identical PTC13-36 (built by ELCO), PTC37-66 (built by Trumpy, Gloucester City) and RPC1-50 (built by Miami SB) were built for Soviet Union.
