1895, both: were armed with: 2 x 1 - 88/27 SK L/30 C/89, 1 x 1 - 47/37 SK L/40 C/91, 1 x 1 - 37/20 Hotchkiss

1900, both: were armed with 2 x 1 - 37/20 Hotchkiss, 2 x 5 - 37/17 Hotchkiss

Naval service

Firat was badly damaged by gunfire of Greek gunboat Aphroessa in February 1897 and was under repair till 1899.
