Project history

Variant o the Spanish BPE design. Ordered 7.5.2015, works were started 30.4.2016. Flight deck has 4750m² area with 6 landing spots, ski-jump for STOVL aircraft and 2 27t elevators. 990m² hangar can accommodate 18 helicopters. There are 1400m² deck for heavy vehicles (including 13 MBTs) and 1800m² deck for 80 light vehicles. 1165m² (69.3x16.8m) well deck can accommodate 4 LCM-class or 2 LCAC-class craft.
