Project history

Former Type 120 frigates of Bundesmarine. Also Lübeck in December 1988 and Braunschweig in July 1989 were transferred for spares but later ex-Braunschweig replaced ex-Emden as Gemlik.

Modernizations

None.

Naval service

Gelibolu was badly damaged by fire in 1984 and later scrapped.
