Naval service

El Cano and General Lezo participated in Battle of Manila Bay 1.5.1898, both were sunk by USN ships but El Cano was later salvaged by Americans and served under USN flag as Elcano. General Concha wrecked 11.6.1913 off Moroccan coast.
