Project history

Former British submarine L55, attacked by Russian destroyers Azard and Gavriil, mined when dived and sunk 4.6.1919. She was salvaged in 1928, repaired and commissioned by Red Fleet.

Modernizations

1934: Vickers diesels were replaced by 42BM6 (2200hp).

Naval service

No significant events.
