Project history

Planned development of project 11660 with extended attack capabilities. Completion was planned in 2001 but in late 1990s building was suspended due to changes in naval conceptions. In 2007 it was decided to complete ship as TS with new name Borodino, but really building was never restarted. Planned Riurik and Peresvet were never laid down.
