Similar to Osyotr class destroyers built in France, differed by presence of mine rails on a shelterdeck that has finished stability dangerous limits. Rated as torpedo boats, since September, 1907 as destroyers.

Leytenant Burakov 30.7.1917 was mined and has sunk off Ledzund (Gulf of Riga). Letuchiy and Ispolnitelny, passing to minelaying operation, have got to a storm, overturned and sank in Gulf of Finland 12.12.1914.
