Project history

Project 776 (variation of built for USSR project 773), built mainly as command ship for landing operations. Short vehicle deck aft can accommodate only one 15t APC or 2 light trucks.

Modernizations

1980s: + 2 x 4 Fasta-4M SAM (16 Strela-3M)

1990s: - Donets-2 radar; + SRN-207, SRN-433XTA, SRN-7453 Nogat radars
