Project history

Sister-ship of Algerian Kalaat class, ordered in 1982. Has 75.0x7.4m vehicle deck equipped with 18.0x5.0m bow and 4.0x5.0m stern ramps. 16 t travelling crane, 2 Sea Truck type LCVPs are handled by them. Helicopter deck can accommodate Sea King / Commando or Super Puma helicopter.
