Project history

Project Mawj (Vigilante 400). Another five craft to be equipped with ASW weapons were proposed but not ordered. HAve two 35m³ cargo holds. 76mm mounts were installed in Oman instead of French 40mm guns installed at launch. Have provision for later installation of 8 MM15 SSMs, 4 fixed 324mm ASW torpedo tubes and ATAS towed sonar array.
