Project history

In addition to minelaying, is able to act as a minehunter and as a training ship and ASW escort. Has a helicopter landing platform aft for aircraft up to CH-53E size, an extensive EW suite, and optronic backup directors for guns. Carries an LCVP landing craft to port.
