Project history

KDX-III, Aegis Baseline 7.1 (BAseline K1)-based design, enlarged variant of Arleigh Burke Flight 2A. Korean Cheon Ryong and Hongsangeo missiles really entered service only in early 2010s. Ships can carry Hae Sung II SSMs instead of Cheong Ryong.
