Project history

Designed by Eng Insp Ernesto Martinez, this was the first destroyer projected and built entirely in Italy. She was an experimental ship, and not successful, her designed speed of 26.5kts never being reached.

Naval service

In 1906-1911 Fulmine was used for cadet training.
