The oblong version  of Hastings class, built for RIM. Ship was arranged for service in tropics.

Modernizations

1940: + 1 x 4 - 12.7/62, 2 DCT, DC stowage was increased up to 40, type 121 or type 124 sonar

1942: - 4 x 1 - 47/40; + 2 x 1 - 20/70 Oerlikon Mk II/IV
