Project history

Former Italian torpedo boat Lira of Spica class. 9.9.1943 she was scuttled at Specia to avoid capture by German troops, salvaged by Germans 15.5.1944 but repair was never completed. TA49 was lost 4.11.1944 during Allied air raid to Specia.
