Project history

Former Dutch O12, 14.5.1940 scuttled at Helder, later salvaged by Germans, repaired and 30.1.1943 commissioned by Kriegsmarine as UD2. 2 single 40mm Bofors guns in retracted mounts were removed and replaced by one single 20mm MG.

1942-1943, presumably: + FuMO 30 radar, FuMB 1 Metox ECM suite

1943-1944, presumably: - FuMB 1 Metox ECM suite; + FuMB 3 Bali, FuMB 6 Palau ECM suites

Naval service
