Naval service

Élan II was captured by British 3.7.1940, used as barrage balloon vessel and later as target tug, she was returned in 1945 and scrapped. Renne was captured by Germans at Bizerte 8.12.1942 and bombed by Allied aircraft 7.12.1943. Zébu foundered 12.6.1940 off Le Havre. Aurochs was captured by Germans in June, 1940 and returned in 1945.
