Project history

Former British escort sloop Syringa of Anchusa class, transferred to Egypt 31.3.1920. Really mostly she served unarmed. She was used as patrol, lighthouse tender and transport vessel.

None.

Naval service

31.1.1941, proceeding to Tobruk, at evasion from attacks of German aircraft Sollum ran a underwater rock at Sidi-Barrani and sank.
