Project history

Former USN submarine rescue ship, transferred to Brazil in 1973 as diving tender, survey ship and submarine rescue ship. In 1990-1991 she was converted to support ship for mine countermeasures vessels, with most salvage equipment deleted and spare cables, cutters, swweep gear and fuel for transfer instead.
