Naval service

Saïda was stricken on 26.2.1906. In 1908 her engines were removed and she served as a mine storage ship. In 1912 she was renamed Minerva when her name was needed for a new light cruiser, and in 1920 she was ceded as war reparation to Italy and scrapped.
