Project history

Very similar to US De Soto County LSTs, differed mainly by armament and in having 60t heavy-lift king post set.

Modernizations

1988: - AWS-1 radar; + SPS-10 radar

Naval service

Cabo San Antonio was inoperable since late 1980s due to main engines problems but was finally deleted only in 1997.
