Project history

First three delivered under designation D25-27 to Yugoslavia under the US Offshore Procurement Scheme. The fourth craft was built with French assistance by Mali Losinj Yard.

Modernizations

1988-1990, all: - type 193M sonar; + 2 PAP-104 minehunting USV, TSM2022 sonar

Naval service

Vukov Klanats was heavily damaged in September 1991 and taken over by the Croatian Navy, but soon after was destroyed by Serbian coastal guns.
