Wooden-hulled, design of 1856. Enlarged Albacore class. Reclassed as gunvessels in June 1859.

Naval service

Jaseur wrecked on the Paxo Nuevo Shoal 26.2.1859, en route from Port Royal to Greytown. Lee sunk in action with the Taku forts, Peiho River, China 25.6.1859. Slaney wrecked in a typhoon in the Paracel Islands near Hong Kong 9.5.1870.
