Project history

Royal Navy has ordered in 1941 in the USA 150 large submarine chasers of РСЕ type, for the delivery by lend-lease. After joining of the US to war almost all of them were commissioned by USN, Royal Navy received only 15 ships, one time they were classified as patrol sloops, later as corvettes.
