Project history

Trawlers were purchased by Admiralty, used mostly for minesweeping role. Data was as follows: dimensions (42.7 - 45.9) x (7.47 - 7.77) x (3.51 - 3.66) m, machinery 1 VTE, 1 cylindrical boiler, 600hp, 11kts. All had additionally 3 MGs.

Modernizations

None.

Naval service

Beech and Tamarisk were sunk by German trawlers, Myrtle was mined.
