Four destroyers have been ordered by Turkey in 1939 to Vickers-Armstrong and Denny as "I" class ships built for the RN, but with quadruple TTs. Fire control system was similar to accepted on Brazilian "Н" class. British Government has redeemed two destroyers. Two more, built by Denny, were commissioned by Turkish Navy in 1942
