Project history

Ships of 3rd group were beamier as previous for improving of stability and were armed by new 114mm (really 120mm) Mk V guns. Only two Australian ships were completed. Cammell Laird's Vimeira and Fairfield's Ypres were never really laid down.

Naval service

Anzac was converted to TS in 1966, "B" turret, all twin and one single Boforses were removed.
