Project history

120-guns three-deckers. Designed by the Surveyors' Office, modified from the draught for the Caledonia but proved poor sailers, being 'very crank'.

(3/1859-1.9.1860), Nelson: was converted to screw 89-guns 2nd rate three-decker with data as given in the table
