Project history

Lürssen Werft/Abeking & Rasmussen design, a variant of the German Navy's Type 332, was selected in 1999. Nonmagnetic steel-hull construction. Shock mountings are provided for virtually every piece of equipment and for all crew seats. A Haux portable divers' decompression chamber is also carried.
