Project history
Former USN detsroyer escorts of GMT (Evarts) class, leased to China. Both ships escaped to Taiwan in 1949. Armament was strengthened.

Naval service
14.11.1954 Tai Ping was torpedoed and sunk by Communist torpedo boats off Tachen Islands.
