Project history
Arnomendi was built for the Secretaria General de Pesca Maritima but transferred to the Navy 17.1.2001 by the Ministerio de Agricultura, Pesca, y Alimentación. Carry Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food civilian personnel for inspection duties. Have helicopter platform but no hangar, equipped with a hook for towing and carry two 6.2m RIBs, each with two waterjet engines. Two fire monitors are located atop the foremast, and ships are equipped to support divers.
