Project history
New construction 1123grt/900dwt stern-haul trawler hull taken over for use as an oceangoing fisheries protection ship. Funded by the Subsecretaria de la Marine Mercante for the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food (MAFA). Normal passenger complement includes two physicians and four fisheries inspectors. The helicopter deck large enough to accommodate an AB-212 is built over the stern and is 10.5 m above the normal waterline. Has 670m³ stores capacity, including 20m³ refrigerated storage.
