Project history

In 1938 two submarines of advanced Orzeł class were ordered in France, their basic difference from a prototype consisted in abandoning from main gun in favour of the second AA MG. Building was begun in 1939, but already 22.4.1939 ordered was cancelled. Incomplete hulls were destroyed by Germans on slipways.
