Standard British motor minesweepers, transferred for replacement of the mobilised trawlers. Very successful design of wooden coastal minesweeper able to sweep magnetic and acoustic mines.

Terschelling was sunk by German aircraft 12.7.1942. Marken was lost 20.5.1944 on a mine in a mouth of Thames. Vlieland was sunk in November, 1951 at coast of New Guinea.
