Project history

Small turret rams originally rigged with two masts. The upper deck was 1.1m above water with fore and aft superstructures.

Ship protection

Armoured 152mm belt protected full ship length. Turret had 278-203mm sides.

Modernizations

1880s, both: - 1 x 2 - 229/14; + 1 x 1 283/20 Krupp No.1, 5 x 1 - 37/20 Hotchkiss, 2 x 5 - 37/17 Hotchkiss
