Project history

Russian torpedo gunboats (torpedo cruisers by Russian classification), former was sunk on shallow water at Port Arthur by Japanese siege artillery, latter was scuttled by own crew there. Both were salvaged by Japanese, repaired and commissioned by IJN next year.
