Project history

Carried a 25-man rubber rescue dinghy. The machinegun can be interchanged with a firefighting water cannon. PS 104 and PS 105 were optimized for service on Japan’s Inland Sea and had longer superstructures and an enlarged pilothouse. First five had glass-reinforced plastic hulls and 4-day endurance; PS 106 and PS 107 had a 4.0m-molded-depth, aluminum alloy hull of deep-vee form.
