Project history

British river gunboat Moth was scuttled by own crew 12.12.1941 at Hong Kong, salvaged by Japanese and after repair was commissioned by IJN 1.7.1942 as Suma.

Modernizations

None.

Naval service

Suma was mined and has sunk 19.3.1945 near Kiangying on Yangtze.
