Project history

Sentinella was ordered in 1952 from CRDA as VAS470. She was designed as submarine chaser and was classed as a corvette. She was used as a leader for the torpedo-boat flotilla. In 1965 she was reclassified as a gunboat and renamed.

1967: - 1 x 24 - 178 Hedgehog Mk 10 ASWRL; + 1 x 1 - 76/62 OTO Melara Compact
