Project history

Ex-British minesweeper of Algerine class. Primarily she was taken as survey vessel Ammiraglio Magnaghi but soon reclassified as colonial corvette (in June 1946) and ASW corvette (in April 1950).

Modernizations

1954: - 4 x 1 - 37/54, radar; + 1 x 2 - 40/60 Mk 1, 2 x 1 - 40/60 Mk 3, SO-13 radar.

1956: - 1 x 1 - 100/47, 1 DCR
