Project history

Former PM1 class MGBs, radically converted during fitting out. They had 30mm casemate armour added and both were excessively top heavy. After sinking of the PN21 her sister-boat was lengthened.

Ship protection

30mm armour protected the side, deck and casemate.

None.

Naval service

PN21 capsized during manoeuvres in 1951.
