Project history

In 1952 the USA agreed to transfer fifteen new ocean minesweeperы of the Agile class to the Marine Nationale under MDAP. They had wooden hulls and diesels of non-magnetic stainless steel alloy. Autun, Baccarat, Berlaimont, Colmar, Narvik, Origny and Ouistreham had taller funnels than the other ships.

1976, Cantho; 1977, Dompaire; 1978, Mytho, Vinh Long; 1979, Garigliano, as minehunters: new block bridge structure; - minesweeping gear; + PAP-104 minehunting vehicle
