Project history

Differed from each other a little; Diligente, Conquérante and Valliante had straight stem, remaining ships had clipper bow.

Modernizations

None.

Naval service

Diligente was captured by British 3.7.1940 at Portsmouth and returned after war. Engageante came over to the side of Allies in November, 1942 and was paid off in 1944.
